Still an amateur but….
Being able to sing is my biggest flaunt
Singing brings me joy
It calms me down and get me to dancing
Being in a medical profession you gotta have something or someone to run to when things get overwhelmed
Singing is that escape for me.
I’m grateful everyday for my gift of singing
Even though I’m not great at it……good is still enough for me
Music has been an integral part of my life since childhood
Singing to Bollywood songs is how I grew up
But I wish I remember how I developed my fondness towards English music
From listening to evergreen Bollywood songs of
KISHOR KUMAR and MOHAMMAD RAFI to becoming a swiftie and listening to every song of TAYLOR SWIFT ..the journey is long and awesome
I am amazed at the wide genres of music I’m really INTO.
As long as I live and love I wanna keep my love for music alive.
Why do you criticize yourself so much?
Why do you self-hate so much?
Why cannot you appreciate yourself enough?
Is it so difficult to love yourself?
Is it so difficult to be proud once in a while?
Listen, life is too short to hold grudges against yourself.For how long are you gonna keep punishing yourself for the mistakes you did some ages ago?
Isn’t life already so tiring and exhausting..that you now carry the extra baggage of self-hate?
Life will satiate you I promise, if you enjoy it without any resentment
The special moments you didn’t live fully, you will surely miss them later, if not sooner.
Don’t you realise you are not alone? And you have people who stood by you till now and they’ll keep doing so, till the end of this world?Why are you still so scared?
Is it because of the moments you felt alone, angry or betrayed? Or the times you felt unheard, unsupported or unloved? Let’s be honest it’s not you but your scared little mind playing tricks on you.While it is completely okay to feel scared and angry and betrayed and left out, it is equally important to remind yourself that- “no amount of these loathy feelings can make you unworthy, period.”
Your worth is not a variable to moods or feelings or thoughts whatsoever!
You were beautifully crafted with a purpose to make the best out of the life you have and it’s never late.
You can still start from a zero. A millionth try is still worth it.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not the regrets but the tries that count.

I wish I knew a better way to describe myself…
A girl with long hair but loves short hair, a girl who loves to dress up like a guy,a girl who always wanna be tough but can’t help with her emotional side,a girl who can’t self praise herself ever..a girl who is emotional as hell and would literally cry over small matters,a girl who wanna shout “NO” but can’t SAY the same ( which I think is terrible) a girl who loves animals more than hoomans, a girl with tiny bit more compassion towards humanity,a girl who says she doesn’t care but end up caring more than ever,a girl who uses slangs a lot but only in secret. A girl with big dreams in her eyes but a fearful heart, a girl who tries but fails miserably, a girl with no idea where her life will take her but has high hopes to travel around the world some day.
What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
Not because I don’t want to but because I don’t get time even on sundays

I’m angry
Angry at myself for not trying enough
I know what it took me to be here
Yet I’m taking things for granted
Taking my blessings for granted
Seeing others happy
I get envious and jealous
Why can’t I be happy like them
What is stopping me?
